Rooted in Legacy. Built with Intention.

Grandma Mattie's Kitchen Table
My work began at my Grandma Mattie's kitchen table.
She showed me that listening is leadership. That encouragement builds confidence. That small, intentional moments shape who we become.
Her love was constant. Her example was clear. Her influence still guides how I show up today.
She was steady, wise, and deeply intuitive. She created spaces where people felt seen, safe, and supported. From her, I learned that wellness is a way of living — something you practice daily through presence, care, and consistency.
Growing Up Around Intention
I was raised in environments that valued education, service, and community. I saw what happens when adults show up consistently for children.
That foundation shaped how I see the world:
Children thrive when they feel supported.
They grow when they are equipped.
They flourish when adults are intentional.
That belief followed me into every chapter of my life.
Leadership, Motherhood, and Purpose

While building my corporate career, I was also raising my daughter. I worked a 9–5 and did what mothers do — figured it out.
I stayed involved at her school because I believe presence matters. When work took me to different cities, I brought her with me whenever I could. Sometimes her friends came too. I wanted her to see more, experience more, and understand that the world was bigger than what she saw every day.
That season taught me as much about resilience as any boardroom ever could.
From Personal Practice to Public Purpose
In 2025, I completed my Health & Wellness Coaching certification through the Institute of Holistic Integrative Studies, strengthening the professional framework behind the work I was already living and practicing.
My focus became clear: emotional regulation, resilience, and confidence — especially for youth.
In 2020, I founded Salyana Essentials.
What began as handcrafted botanical body care for myself, my family, and close friends grew into a ritual-based brand rooted in presence, boundaries, and self-worth. Every product was created with intention — as a tool for emotional grounding and self-connection.
Why Youth Work Is Personal
Today, I work with middle school students through my CREATE Your Vibe™ program, teaching practical emotional regulation skills in a creative, empowering format.
I believe that emotional skills can be taught intentionally.
When students understand how to pause, reset, and respond with clarity, everything changes — their confidence, their relationships, their ability to handle pressure.
As a grandmother to a bright, curious middle schooler who loves history and science, I see the importance of this work every day.
For me, it is beyond being professional, it is generational.

Five Generations. One Thread.
From my grandmother's kitchen table
to my role as a mother
to now being a grandmother myself
The thread is consistent:
Resilience.
Service.
Intention.
Emotional steadiness.
Now, I help families build those skills on purpose — so the next generation grows up grounded, confident, and equipped for life.
Supporting individuals and families to honor their energy, cultivate resilience, and embrace well-being across generations.
